Aesthetic Engine

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Aesthetic Engine platform, website, and services (“Services”), operated by Carrie Krane LLC, doing business as Aesthetic Engine (“Aesthetic Engine,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
By accessing or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.
1. Services Provided
Aesthetic Engine provides business systems, technology tools, websites, marketing infrastructure, and educational resources for independent aesthetic and wellness providers.
Aesthetic Engine does not provide medical, clinical, or aesthetic treatments and does not practice medicine or any licensed healthcare profession.
2. No Medical or Clinical Services
Any medical, aesthetic, or clinical services offered by providers using Aesthetic Engine are provided independently by those providers.
Each provider is solely responsible for:
- Patient care
- Clinical decisions and outcomes
- Compliance with applicable laws and regulations
- Maintaining a medical director where required
- Aesthetic Engine is not responsible or liable for any clinical services, outcomes, or patient interactions.
3. HIPAA & Platform Use
Aesthetic Engine maintains a HIPAA-compliant technology infrastructure within its platform.
While we provide secure systems, each provider is responsible for how they use the platform and for complying with HIPAA, privacy laws, and professional regulations applicable to their practice.
Use of the platform alone does not guarantee compliance.
4. Fees & Payments
Certain Services require payment of:
- A one-time setup fee
- A recurring subscription fee
By purchasing, you authorize Aesthetic Engine to charge your selected payment method according to the pricing presented at checkout. All fees are listed in U.S. dollars unless otherwise stated.
5. Messaging, Usage-Based Fees & Credits
Certain platform features incur usage-based fees, including but not limited to:
- Phone numbers
- SMS and MMS messaging
- Email sending
- Phone calls
These services operate on a pay-as-you-go basis based on usage.
Aesthetic Engine provides a one-time messaging credit upon account activation to help offset initial usage. Credits do not roll over and have no cash value.
Messaging rates apply and are subject to change based on carrier and vendor pricing.
6. Failed Payments & Account Suspension
If a payment fails to process for any reason, Aesthetic Engine may automatically retry the payment using the payment method on file. If payment remains unsuccessful, your account may be temporarily suspended until payment is received.
During suspension:
- Access to the platform and Services may be restricted or disabled
- Messaging, automations, and other usage-based features may be paused
Access will be restored once payment is successfully processed.
Aesthetic Engine reserves the right to suspend or terminate platform access for non-payment or repeated failed payment attempts.
7. Cancellation & Subscription Changes
You may cancel your subscription at any time by emailing [email protected] with at least 14 days’ notice before your next billing date.
Upon cancellation:
- Your subscription remains active through the end of your current billing period
- You will not be charged for future billing cycles
- Platform access ends when the billing period concludes
During cancellation, you may be required to confirm removal of connected features, including phone numbers, messaging services, and automations.
8. Refund Policy
Because Aesthetic Engine provides digital services that involve platform access, setup, and implementation work that begins shortly after purchase:
- Setup fees are non-refundable once work has begun
-Subscription fees are non-refundable for the current billing period
Refund requests may be reviewed on a case-by-case basis but are not guaranteed.
9. Access & Data After Cancellation
After cancellation:
- Platform access ends at the close of your billing period
- Upon request, you may receive an export of your contacts and CRM data
Aesthetic Engine retains ownership of all platform templates, funnels, automations, websites, and system architecture. These assets are not transferable outside the platform after access ends.
10. Intellectual Property
All content, templates, systems, and materials provided by Aesthetic Engine are owned by Carrie Krane LLC and protected by intellectual property laws.
You are granted a limited, non-transferable license to use these materials during your active subscription.
11. Disclaimer of Warranties
Services are provided “as is” and “as available.”
Aesthetic Engine makes no guarantees regarding business results, revenue, or outcomes.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Aesthetic Engine shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
Total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you to Aesthetic Engine in the preceding 12 months.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Aesthetic Engine from claims arising from:
- Your business activities
- Your use of the Services
- Your violation of these Terms
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California.
15. Changes to These Terms
Aesthetic Engine may update these Terms at any time. Continued use constitutes acceptance of updates.
